The Early Care and Education (ECE) field is a critical workforce support; one that is essential to working families and businesses. It is also a key component to rebuilding our economy in a post-pandemic world. Though COVID-19 further compounded the known inequities in the childcare and Early Childhood field, our workforce has remained strong and resilient. We thank you for your commitment to your profession and to the children and families you serve despite what continue to be very challenging circumstances. You have done your part to help the nation recover, now it is time for you to receive benefits you deserve as an ECE professional!
We see you and your voices have been heard. With funding received from the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) Act, the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Welfare and Supportive Services, in partnership with The Nevada Registry, Optima Benefits and Payroll and AllyHealth are bringing to you, telemedicine and teletherapy services, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) AND dental and vision benefits – AT NO COST to you, simply for being a valuable member of the ECE workforce in Nevada.

Through these programs, you and your family members will receive unlimited access to family doctors and pediatricians for consults, diagnosis, treatment, and prescriptions for a wide range of common health conditions treatable virtually. You will also receive access to counselors, therapists, and specialists, allowing you to be more proactive with your mental wellness, and nurture work-life balance.
- The dental and vision coverage is provided through MetLife. This benefit is available at no cost to you with an option to add additional family members at a minimal cost (paid by you). Please note that you are not required to participate in the fee-based coverage for your family members; it is simply an option for those who are interested.
