Early Childhood Staff Stipend Incentive Program
The COVID-19 pandemic created unprecedented hardships for thousands of children and families and highlighted more than at any other time in our history the critical and ESSENTIAL role that Early Childhood (ECE) Educators play in keeping our economy and our entire country afloat. Without you, other essential workers would not have been able to report to work to provide critical care services for the ill and thousands of children would have been left without care. The work you do in ECE every day is so important – in fact, we feel it is THE most important work on the planet.

To thank you for your commitment to ECE and the children and families you serve, the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Welfare and Supportive Services, in partnership with The Nevada Registry and the Nevada Association for the Education of Young Children, has created the Early Childhood Staff Stipend Incentive Program. This program provides support to lessen the financial impact Early Childhood Educators and professionals have endured during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. To be eligible, applicants must be active members of The Nevada Registry and employed at an eligible child care program serving children ages 0-8. Approved applicants will receive a stipend in the amount of $1,000 issued in one disbursement.

Telehealth Services Benefit Program
Thank you for your commitment to Early Childhood in Nevada and the children and families you serve. Because you have authorized the release of your information and completed the initial enrollment form for the Telehealth Services Benefits Program, you and your family will soon have 24/7/365 access to AllyHealth’s Board Certified doctors, pediatricians and therapists by secure video, phone or mobile app through the Optima Benefits & Payroll provided telemedicine/teletherapy benefit. You will also have access to dental and vision coverage through MetLife and a voluntary Whole Life Insurance policy through Mass Mutual.

There are two parts to these FREE benefits offered through the Telehealth Services Benefit Program:
  1. The telemedicine, teletherapy and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is offered through AllyHealth. Through these programs, you and your family members will receive unlimited access to family doctors and pediatricians for consults, diagnosis, treatment, and prescriptions for a wide range of common health conditions treatable virtually. You will also receive access to counselors, therapists, and specialists and other EAP services, allowing you to be more proactive with your mental wellness, and nurture work-life balance.
  2. The dental and vision coverage is provided through MetLife. This benefit is available at no cost to you with an option to add additional family members at a minimal cost (paid for by you). Please note that you are not required to participate in the fee-based coverage for your family members; it is simply an option for those who are interested.
In addition to the free benefits outlined above, a voluntary Whole Life Insurance program is also available.

Accessing your telehealth benefits is a two-step process.

Now that you have authorized the release of your information and completed the initial enrollment form through your Registry account, you will receive further information via email from AllyHealth outlining the next steps to activate your account and register your dependents. Please note you must activate your account to begin accessing services. You will also receive a separate email from Optima Benefits & Payroll with instructions for completing the MetLife enrollment process to begin accessing the dental and vision benefits.

In most cases, your benefits will go into effect on the first day of the month following your initial enrollment with The Nevada Registry (if you complete the required activation and enrollment steps through AllyHealth and MetLife before the end of the month).
